Our Story

Dahna's Online Spanish Teaching is a solo team of a dedicated,

hardworking and reliable tutor who places learning above everything else.

Sharalene, also known as Dahna, began her journey in 2009 as a Spanish tutor to college students. She provided individual and small-group instructional assistance on varied course topics which resulted in elevating students' performance by at least one (1) letter grade. Sharalene also provided individualized, intensive tutoring to students with special needs as well as one-on-one tutoring with students on academic probation.

Due to her patience, commitment but most importantly, guaranteed results to pass a Spanish course, numerous students from various schools began requesting her tutoring service. Therefore in the year 2014 as a response to keep up with the demand for service, as well as the growing need for non-traditional learning, Sharalene transitioned to an online tutoring service. This transition has proven that online learning promotes self-discovery, knowledge construction, group-based discussions, transformational and independent learning, which is beneficial to students who want to exercise their flexibility and options on what to learn.
